Difficulty - 8/10
Grand Theft Auto III is a challenging game. At first, the missions are fairly simplistic and easy to complete. But as you make progress, you get increasingly difficult missions. It is quite hard to complete a few missions, but it is not too difficult.

Gameplay - 9.5/10
This game has excellant gameplay. Different vehicles have different methods of handling, and they are generally fairly easy to control. You can do drive-by-shootings with the uzi, install car bombs, and more. You have the option of doing mini missions with different vehicles. For instance, you can earn extra cash by picking up and driving people with the taxi. Using weapons is fairly easy, however to auto-aim does not always target the most dangerous person.

Graphics - 9/10
Grand Theft Auto III has terrific graphics. There are many different vehicle designs and the city is indredible huge and very interactive. The fire and explosion graphics look particularly nice, and the different textures look very good as well.

Replay Value - 10/10
You will never tire of playing Grand Theft Auto III. You are able of doing missions, or drive around the city. You have many missions available, and there are many extra things you are able to do. For example, you can do extreme jumps, collect hidden packages to earn weapons, do rampages, and much more.

Sound - 9.5/10
Grand Theft Auto III has great sound effects and music. There are a number of radio stations to listen to. The music styles vary from techno to classical. The screams, explosions, gunfire and tire screeching will make it seem as if you are really there.

Story - 7/10
The story of Grand Theft Auto III is basic, but effective. You were a small time crook, when your girlfriend shot you, cheating you out of a bank robbery's pay off. You were sentenced 10 years in prison, but you managed to escape before you went to jail. You become freinds with 8 Ball, a man who has connections with the mafia. He sets you up with a job, and you begin your career as a hired criminal.

Overall, Grand Theft Auto III is a wonderful game. If you enjoy action, racing, or any of the GTA games, you will love this. I have enjoyed it immensely, and I believe it to be a must-buy for anyone.
