Difficulty - 8/10
Super Mario Advance is a challenging game. It is very difficult at first, but after some practice you should be able to get through. It doesn't get mcuh easier, although some levels are rather simple.

Gameplay - 8/10
This game handles just like the original. You can run, jump throw blocks and do many other things. Mario, Luigi, Peach and Toad all have different statistics and control differently. Mario is the most well rounded, Luigi is the highest jumper, Peach can hover for short periods of time and Toad has the greatest strength.

Graphics - 7.5/10
The graphics have been cleaned up quite a bit from the original. They have not done any spectactular new effects, but it still looks very good.

Replay Value - 7.5/10
Super Mario Advance is fun every time you play it. You should get a lot of enjoyment out of this game.

Sound - 8/10
This music is great. This game plays the classical Mario songs that you've grown to love, the sound effects are rather simplistic, but sound good as well.

Story - 5.5/10
The story of this game is quite boring. You play either Mario, Luigi, Peach or Toad and you are fighting monsters trying to save everything. The worst part of the story is that they removed Bowser and replaced him with a big frog.

Overall - 7/10
Super Mario Advance is fun, challenging and has good music. It should keep you busy for a long time and is a good game to have for the Game Boy Advance.
