Classification: Humanoid.

Appearance: Ferengi are slightly shorter than humans and have large ears. Their ears have thick strips of skin that run across the forehead and meet just above the bridge of the nose. They have pointed teeth, multi-lobed skulls and ridged noses with large nostrils.

Lifespan: 120 years.

Unique Abilities: Ferengi have extremely sensitive hearing, enabling them to tell the difference between decables.

Personality Traits: Ferengi are obsessed with profit. They will lie, cheat, steal and on occassion, kill if they will gain from it. They are cowardly and sexist; allowing only men to do buisness, confining women to their homes and not allowing them to wear clothing.

Government: The Ferengi have a culture which is based entirely upon commerce. They follow a code of conduct known as "The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition". Reportedly these rules are subject to interpretation depending upon the situation.
